The cybersecurity of Telecom Operator (OT) networks as well as Operators of Vital Importance (OIV) has become a major challenge for the European economy and defence. The consequences of attacks on these networks can be dramatic and costly. Our countries, like all others, need to protect their networks from any threat or attack.
The sophistication of today’s cyber attacks contrasts with the cost-effectiveness ratio unfortunately very high. Malware, such as NotPetya or Wannacry, relatively easy to Develop can cause considerable damage.
If it is easier to stop an attack than to repair the damage of this attack, it is still necessary to have tools capable of detecting these attacks in real or near real time.
Companies that want equip themselves with prevention tools are to date, generally dependent on security companies, mostly American. It seems to us relevant, necessary and possible to develop such tools in France.
The company ADVISOR SLA and its partner the Epita Safety and Systems Laboratory (LSE) are working to develop a platform by combining their skills under a DGA rapid project.
This platform will be based on data provided by the ADVISOR SLA metrology and safety probes and multi-source data provided by other systems.
It will use classical algorithms, AI Machine Learning mechanisms and integrate innovative methods developed during the project.
We are available to discuss about our studies on this R&D project.
